PHOTO NEWS: President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to Owerri, Imo state. (Feb 22nd, 2014)

The President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr.Goodluck Ebele Jonathan  led a delegation of top members of the Peoples Democratic Party to Owerri on Saturday. We had the Party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, Vice President, Namadi Sambo and Senate President David Mark to list a few.

The purpose of the visit was to welcome returning members back to the umbrella fold. Former State Governor, Chief Achike Udenwa, Sen.Chris Anyanwu, Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume and Chief Mike Ahamba were among those who were received at the ceremony.

Our state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was at the airport to receive Mr.President. Here are some photographs for your viewing pleasure. 

The first port of call for Pres.Jonathan was a courtesy call on Eze Cletus Ilomuanya in his palace..
