he Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HOS), Bukar Goni Aji, yesterday said two new departments have been created for all ministries in the federal civil service.
The two new additions are Department of Reform Coordination & Service Improvement and Department of General Services.
Mr Aji explained that the new departments are in line with efforts aimed at improving service delivery and ensuring the sustenance of the various initiatives and reform processes through the utilisation of the skilled manpower in the service.
He also disclosed the streamlining and consolidation of 26 departments supervised by six permanent secretaries into 13 departments under three permanent secretaries.
